Nola Warner has 6 years of office management experience through a student housing cooperative. She worked with members to create meaningful education programs, managed accounts receivable, facilitated volunteers and made everyone who came through the doors feel welcomed.
She has a life long passion for the outdoors. Her bachelor's degree in Environmental Studies and Anthropology has articulated her love for people and the planet. She's been an educator through the Student Conservation Association as a summer day camp program conductor in Alaska and a classroom presenter of wildlife programming in Louisiana. She also formulated and executed an after school program called 'Green Scene' at Kazoo School in Kalamazoo, where young students crafted and learned about sustainability. Furthermore, she has experience as a substitute teacher.
She was a classroom volunteer and active participant of the Parent Teacher Organization of Church of the Resurrection School in Lansing for the 23-24 academic year. Her and her family were members of Resurrection Parish for 7 years, and are now with St. Anthony Parish in Buchanan. Her two daughters, Flora and Lobelia, are loving St. Mary's school.
Her combined experiences in education, office management, and Catholic schooling all make her a great fit for St. Mary's. She's loving it here!
